RAC Board Elections in July
It's time to move ahead with RAC Board of Director nominations and elections for 2009. Each of the five RAC districts will conduct elections throughout July. Eligible candidates include the 2009 RAC delegates.
From the RAC Policies & Procedures: "Any delegate, representing a member regional association in good standing, is eligible to serve on the RAC Board, providing he/she consents to serve. Once a delegate has served a first term on the RAC Board, they may choose to pursue a second consecutive term without being designated as their regional's RAC Delegate."

New board terms will begin immediately following the Delegate Assembly meeting held in Las Vegas during The PPAI Expo in January 2009. This is a two-year commitment and RAC Board members are required to attend three (3) in-person meetings each year (January at the Expo, a second meeting at a site to be determined and the RAC Leadership Development Workshop usually held between July and September). Board members also participate in monthly conference calls - typically a one-hour call held on the first Monday of each month. See the job description for a RAC board member, which can be accessed via the "About RAC" tab on this website.
