Two regional associations were among the award winners recognized at The PPAI Expo 2012:

·         Three Rivers Advertising Specialty Association (TRASA) took home the silver Pyramid Award for Regional Creative Achievement.

·         Rocky Mountain Region Promotional Products Association (RMR/PPA) won Web Content/Functionality (Trade Association) in the inaugural PPAI Technology Awards.

TRASA won the Pyramid Award with a multi-media campaign celebrating its 20th anniversary. The campaign targeted its membership of suppliers and distributors and celebrated the association’s anniversary throughout the year, utilizing a variety of promotional products as well as online, e-mail and direct-mail pieces. Balloons, lanyards, bags, magnets, notebooks, t-shirts and more, featuring a logo designed by TRASA Board member Stephanie McClintock, were used at association events and promotions in 2011.

RMR/PPA’s website redesign earned the association its Technology Award. The RMR/PPA website was redesigned to provide suppliers, distributors and business service members a networking platform, as well as placing timely updates at their fingertips 24 hours a day. The goal of the redesign was to make the site as intuitive and user-friendly as possible with links to event registration information, membership directories, MAS/CAS opportunities, legislative activities and PPAI events.
