Regional Association Council (RAC) announces its 2010 Board of Directors. Kendra Kirks McDougal, MAS, RAC board representative from District 1, will assume the office of RAC president at The PPAI Expo 2010. Garth Huettl, CAS, will serve in an ex-officio capacity as immediate past president.

“As RAC President, I look forward to 2010 as a year that continues the grassroots results we have built over the past 10 years,” says McDougal. “Now more than ever, it is important that RAC and the 28 regional associations expand collaboration and networking among the five districts. This will help us grow tradeshows, enhance professional development and executive director knowledge, raise the bar of volunteer leadership and harness our collective energy in legislative efforts.

“2010 will be a challenging and exciting year for the industry, creating many opportunities for the RAC Board to contribute to this vibrant, productive community,” she adds.

RAC is comprised of five districts representing 28 regional associations in the promotional products industry. RAC exists to foster positive relationships and partnership among the regional associations to offer education, tradeshows, professional services and grassroots legislative support to its 9,000 regional members.
