PPAI’s Regional Association Council (RAC) welcomes Bill Lazarus, MAS; Donna Vorce, CAS; and Matt Storlien to the 2010 RAC Board of Directors. Additionally, Kendra Kirks McDougal, MAS, has been re-elected to the board.
RAC is comprised of five Districts representing 28 regional associations in the promotional products industry. RAC exists to foster positive relationships and partnership among the regional associations to offer education, tradeshows, professional services and grassroots legislative support to its 9,000 regional members.
Kendra Kirks McDougal, MAS—District 1 Representative
McDougal has been in the promotional products industry for nearly seven years and is a creativity consultant for Halo/Lee Wayne Corp. Regionally, she has been active with CPPA for the past five years.
Kendra’s volunteer leadership includes: Education and tradeshow committees; CPPA board secretary; RAC Delegate and CPPA board of directors (2006–2008); RAC Board member, liaison to RAC marketing and communications committees; CPPA legislative committee; and RAC vice president and co-chair of RAC strategic planning task force.
Bill Lazarus, MAS—District 2 Representative
Lazarus has been in the promotional products industry for more than 27 years and currently co-owns Deerfield Beach, Florida-based Promotional Breezes with his wife, Marcy.
Lazarus’s volunteer leadership includes: SAAGNY board member for eight years, including time as president and show chair; PPAI leadership advisory committee member; current president of GCPPA; GCPPA RAC Delegate for three years; and tradeshow committee chair for four years.
Donna Vorce, CAS—District 3 Representative
Vorce is the founder and owner of Columbus, Ohio-based distributor First Impressions. She is a 20-year veteran of the promotional products industry.
Vorce’s volunteer leadership includes: OPPA board member for six years; chair of OPPA’s Columbus and Cleveland tradeshows; co-chair of the women’s POWWER Conference; RAC Delegate for three years; current member of the RAC professional development committee; and current immediate past president of OPPA
Matt Storlien—District 4 Representative
Storlien’s promotional products career began at 3M in 1994. In 2008, he became regional vice president of sales-western division for Indianapolis, Indiana-based supplier Norwood Promotional Products.
Storlien currently serves as president and RAC Delegate for CAPPA.
The new and returning board members will join: Mike Irwin, MAS (District 1); Dan Jenne (District 2); Garth Huettl, CAS and Paul Gualtieri, CAS (District 3); Ted Dennison, CAS (District 4); Jeff Thomas, CAS (District 5); and Bruce Perryman, CAS (District 5 and PPAI Delegate to the PPAI Board).
