Congratulations to the winners of the ADvocate Regional Challenge - Round 1:

Association - Houston Promotional Products Association (HPPA)

Individual - Teri Ray, MAS from HPPA

These winners were announced during the RAC Leadership Development Workshop held July 31 through August 3 in Grapevine, Texas. In addition, RAC Delegate to the PPAI Board Dave DeGreeff, MAS, was presented with a special award (the "ADvocate's Advocate") for his commitment to the ADvocate Program and help in developing the regional challenge.

Now it's time to focus on leg two of the ADvocate Regional Challenge, which runs through January 9, 2009!

As a reminder this friendly competition between individuals and regional associations is designed to increase awareness of and participation in the PPAI ADvocate program. This program is one way to educate buyers about the value of promotional products.

Trained ADvocates make presentations to business groups about the power of promotional products and the importance of distributors as effective marketing resources. Nearly 200 individuals and all 28 regional associations are participating in the program.

An education voucher for a PPAI program will be awarded to the individual who delivers the greatest number of ADvocate presentations during the competition time frame. A monetary prize of $1,500 will be awarded to the regional association whose members deliver the most presentations. Is your association participating in the leg-two challenge?
