Mark Shinn, MAS, began his career selling NFL products at stadiums at age 15 (more than 30 years ago). After 15 years in Team Licensed Products managing stadium and special event sales, he jumped into corporate markets hiring on with Tonkin, Inc. (now Cyrk), where he became a national sales manager. In 2000, he founded the supplier representative firm Incentives West, based in Newcastle, Washington, acting as a brand manager for his supplier partners in the West. Shinn began his volunteer service in 2001 at Northwest Promotional Marketing Association (NWPMA) as its RAC delegate. He has served on the board of directors for NWPMA and the Promotional Marketing Association of Northern California (PMANC), in addition to the role of professional development chair for both regionals. Shinn also has served on the PPAI Promotional Apparel Advisory Council (chair 2004-2006) and the Promotional Professionals Mentoring Network (PPMN) Board of Directors (2006-2007). Since forming Incentives West, he has been an active member of all four of the District 5 regional associations—AzPPA, NWPMA, PMANC and SAAC and has attended RAC meetings for the last five years. Shinn served as RAC treasurer in 2005 and was vice president in 2007.

Garth Huettl, CAS, has been involved in the promotional products industry since 1978 and is currently based in Grafton, Wisconsin, as a sales partner for Geiger. Previous industry positions include regional sales manager for K Products, national sales manager (Canada) for K-Brand and vice president of sales & marketing for Louisville Manufacturing. In his three years with the Promotional Products Association of the Mid-South (PPAMS), Huettl served on the board and as membership chair. He has spent the last five years in active roles with the Promotional Products Association (PPAW) including vice president, board member and social chair; plus he has served as RAC delegate for the past four years. He was president of PPAW in 2007. Huettl's RAC board term runs through January 2010.

Stephen Greenberger, MAS, is president of Promotional Associates, Inc. based in Hollywood, Florida. An active member of Gold Coast Promotional Products Association (GCPPA) since 1987, he is the regional's immediate past president and has been active on the show committee. As an 18-year industry veteran, Greenberger shares his experience by participating in the Promotional Products Mentoring Network (PPMN). He also volunteers time on six South Florida charitable boards including the Boys & Girls Club and James Jr. Fund, Inc., which helps children dealing with cancer. Greenberger is vice president of the Hallandale Police Athletic League and is a CTM with Toastmasters International. In 2006, he was presented with the President’s Volunteer Service Award by President George W. Bush and was named Director of the Year by the Broward County Crime Stoppers Board of Directors. Greenberger was re-elected to the RAC Board in fall 2007 and his service will run through January 2010.

Paul Gualtieri, CAS, is a promotional consultant with the Troy, Michigan-based promotional agency, LogoVision. He has been in the promotional products industry since 1989 and has been involved with the Michigan Promotional Products Association (MiPPA) since 2002, where he is serving a second term as director. Additional leadership roles with MiPPA include vice president and education chair, as well as a five-year stint as RAC delegate. An active community leader, Gualtieri is senior past president of the Wayne State University (WSU) National Alumni Association and is also a past president of the WSU Business School Alumni Association. He served on the Ambassadors Committee for the Troy, Michigan Chamber of Commerce and hosts one of its networking groups. Gualtieri is serving his second term as RAC treasurer. His board term runs through January 2009.

David DeGreeff, MAS, has been involved in the promotional products industry for more than 25 years and is currently president of Asgard Promotional Services based in Houston, Texas. Previously, he spent 21 years as a manufacturer's representative throughout Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas and New Mexico. From 1978 to 1982 he was a regional sales manager for Hazel, Inc. DeGreeff has served in a variety of volunteer capacities, including multiple committees for PPAI. He has also held board leadership positions for the Houston Promotional Products Association (HPPA), where he was a three-term president, and Promotional Products Association Southwest (PPAS). DeGreeff served as RAC treasurer throughout 2006 and is currently the RAC delegate to the PPAI Board of Directors. He was re-elected to the RAC board in 2006 and his term runs through January 2009.

Bruce Korn, CAS, has been involved in the promotional products industry for 14 years and is the president of Zakback, a distributorship based in Malvern, Pennsylvania. He has served as the RAC delegate for the Specialty Advertising Counselors of Delaware Valley (SACDV) and has been on the RAC Communications Committee. Korn has been active with SACDV for eight years and has held many leadership positions including president, vice president, treasurer and newsletter chair. He has also been instrumental in SACDV's membership and long-range planning efforts. Korn served as RAC secretary in 2007. His board term runs through January 2009.

Kendra Kirks McDougal, MAS, has been in the promotional products industry for five years and is a salesperson for Goldman Promotions, a Halo/Lee Wayne Company. She has been active with the Chesapeake Promotional Products Association (CPPA) for the past four years, participating on the education and trade show committee in 2005, and serving as the education chairperson and a board member in 2006. Currently, McDougal has multiple roles with CPPA: RAC delegate, secretary and event coordinator. She has been an education monitor for three years at Promotions East. No stranger to board service, she is a former board member of both the Bethany House (for women and children) and the Fairfax County Shelters. McDougal attended the Motivation Show in 2005, L’Academie! in 2006, and both the Women’s Leadership Conference and first Promotional Consultant Academy in 2007. Debbie Nash, MAS, has been involved in the promotional products industry for 21 years and is an account executive for Zebra Marketing Corporation based in Lilburn, Georgia. In her 15-plus years with the Georgia Association of Promotional Products Professionals (GAPPP), Nash has been an active leader, having served an 18-month term as president in 2001-2002 and more than 10 years on the board. She is the current RAC delegate for GAPPP and completed a term on the PPAI Education Committee in January 2007. Nash has volunteered for the BellSouth Classic golf tournament benefiting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for the past 13 years and is a 21-year volunteer for the Chick-fil-A Bowl. She is the board liaison to the RAC Professional Development Committee and her board term runs through January 2009.

John Niemi, MAS, is a promotional consultant with Artistic Promotions in Denver, Colorado. He has been in the promotional products industry for 10 years. Niemi served on the Rocky Mountain Region Promotional Products Association (RMRPPA) board for four years and has been on various regional committees for nine years. Currently, he chairs membership and co-chairs education for RMRPPA. He was the regional’s RAC delegate for four years and served two years as the chairperson of the RAC Membership Committee. Niemi was instrumental in developing the RAC Membership Challenge—a competition which ran in 2006 and 2007 and was designed to recognize regional associations for outstanding membership marketing campaigns. He is a member of the Promotional Professionals Mentoring Network (PPMN) and is involved with committees for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Meeting Professionals International. Bruce Perryman is the founder and “hands on” owner of Embroidery Unlimited, Inc., providing services to the apparel and promotional products industry since 1989. Originally located in North Carolina, Perryman established Embroidery Unlimited in Tempe, Arizona, in 1998 and joined the Arizona Promotional Products Association (AzPPA). Perryman was elected president of AzPPA in 2001 and served as RAC delegate in 2006 and 2007. Perryman is an internationally published author, having been published in the Harvard Business Review, Stitches, EMB and Corporate Logo magazine. He travels the country presenting business and embroidery specific seminars at industry trade shows and was a speaker at The PPAI Expo 2008. Perryman is a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran and lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is an active advocate for the Arizona chapter of the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation. Perryman’s board term runs through January 2010.

Tina Montgomery, MAS, is the president/CEO of Denver-based LW Barrett Company, Inc. An active volunteer leader, she is in her second year of a four-year term on the PPAI Board of Directors and is a member of the Promotional Professionals Mentoring Network (PPMN). Montgomery also serves as the treasurer of the Rocky Mountain Region Promotional Products Association (RMRPPA) and has been a co-chair of the regional's education committee. Other volunteer roles in her community include service on the academic advisory board for a Denver nonprofit school for unwed teen mothers and the Denver mayor's workforce development task force. Montgomery was appointed by the PPAI chairman of the board to serve in 2008 as the PPAI board delegate to the RAC Board of Directors.

Houston Hale has been in the promotional products industry for 22 years. He is the regional vice president for HALO/Lee Wayne Corporation and is based in Overland Park, Kansas. Previously, he served as vice president of sales and marketing at Promotional Consultants, Inc., for three years after being in a similar position with Kay-Cee Enterprises, Inc., in Kansas City for 11 years. Hale has been the national sales manager of a Top 25 Industry Supplier and has served on the corporate advisory boards of several promotional industry suppliers. He was a board member with Promotional Products Association Midwest (PPAM) from 2001 to 2007 and served on various committees within the association, as well as RAC delegate for three years. Hale was re-elected to the RAC board in the fall of 2005 and served throughout 2006 as vice president and 2007 as president. He will complete his board service in January 2009 as immediate past president.
