= The Fall Tabletop Gift Show Kicks Off
the 2011 Toys for Tots Campaign

= The GCPPA Annual Toys for Tots campaign commences with our Fall Table= top Show on October 5th and ends at our Holiday Party in December. Our goal is to raise $1000 among our members and t= he association will match the final tallied amount. Every doll= ar amount donated brings us closer to reaching our goal.

Clients needed to buy holiday gifts and year end awards. They wanted the latest, the best, and the ones with the m= ost value. Where did distributors do their "shopping" on behalf of those clients? The answer was simple for distributors in the Gold Coast Promotional Products Association - at the GCPPA Fall Tabletop &a= mp; Gift Show '11.

Held at the Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center on October 5th, this one day holiday show brought together 68 top industry exhibitors and 300 local distributor attendees. The exhibition room boasted 100 tables of holiday gifts along with a special "Highlighted Products" Pavilion. The most heard comment from the exhibitors .... "This show is gr= eat - busy from opening to closing!" Meanwhile, distributo= rs were generally heard to be very optimistic about the fall selling season with comments such as .. "The timing of the show is perfect - my clients are running a little late this year and just= now starting to ask for holiday gift ideas. I'm expecting a good fall."

To the benefit of the early risers, the show also provided a morning education session on the most discussed topic = in the industry - Marketing with Social Media, presented by Dana Zez= zo. Almost 70 people attended and walked away thrilled with Dana, and= his tips and techniques.
