Board of Directors

The Board of Directors shall consist of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, RAC Delegate to the PPAI Board of Directors, PPAI Board Delegate to RAC and five directors.  The Immediate Past President shall serve one year in an ex-officio, non-voting capacity and is not a Director of the Board.  The Executive Officers are the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and RAC Delegate to the PPAI Board of Directors.  Printable RAC Board List

Ryan Small, CAS, a fifth-generation Nashville native lives by one mantra … life is short, live large. Ryan is President and managing partner for Blue Dog Merch (a promotional products consulting firm) and Thread F/X, a family-owned business, founded in 1998, that specializes in contract embroidery, screen printing and fulfillment.  He was President of PPAMS in 2014.

Janet McMaster, MAS, is the Regional Sales Manager for Geiger.  After relocating from Pennsylvania to South Carolina in 2012, Janet was nominated for the Board of CAAMP and served as the Professional Development Chair as well as President.  Janet has also served on PPAI’s Professional Development Committee (2013 and 2014) and the Women’s Leadership Conference Advisory Planning Workgroup (2013 and 2014).

Nicholas D’Eramo is co-owner of Triplestitch Promotions and Direct Threads,  a full-service promotional products distributor.  He has served on the Board of NEPPA from 2009–2015 as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President and President as well as Chair of the Membership and Scholarship committees from 2010–2012 and RAC Delegate 2013–2015.  Nick participated in L.E.A.D. in 2012, 2013 and 2015.  He served on PPAI’s Government Relations Action Council (GRAC) from 2014 to the present.

D’Anna Zimmer, CAS, is the Texas and Oklahoma territory rep for Bag Makers, Inc. and has worked as a supplier rep for more than 19 years after beginning as a distributor sales rep for Marketing Incentives. Her involvement with PPAS began early in her career and continues today. She has served in several capacities on the Board including Vice President twice, President twice and RAC Delegate for several terms.  She served as a panelist for a presentation given by Paul Bel­lan­tone, CAE, at LDW in 2014. In her role as RAC Delegate, she has attended L.E.A.D. in Washington, DC, for four years and helped PPAS host L.E.A.D. Local in Austin, TX, in 2015.

Scott Hareid is President and owner of the multi-line representative agency Hareid Marketing and has worked in the promotional products industry for almost 20 years. During the last ten years, he has been volunteering his time to UMAPP, currently is the RAC Delegate and was the 2014 President. Scott has also chaired UMAPP’s Membership, Booth Show and Room Show Committees.  In 2008, he worked directly with PPAI on the Supplier Forum held in St. Paul, MN.

Lee Strom, vice president of marketing and CMO of supplier SanMar, has joined the PPAI Board of Directors, effective immediately, to fill a vacant seat and will serve until The PPAI Expo 2017 as the PPAI Board Liaison to the RAC Board.  Following a 16-year career in retail marketing, Lee joined SanMar in 2001. As the supplier’s head of marketing, he serves on its leadership team and works to help the Issaquah, WA, company engage the industry and develop the marketing tools necessary to grow its business and that of its customers.

Rebecca Mclaughlin, has been in the promotional products industry for almost 10 years—all with CPS/Keystone (Erie, PA) where she is now the Sales and Operations Manager. Rebecca has been involved with TRASA for the past decade. She was Show Chair for two years, 2010 Vice President and in 2011, President. Rebecca has attended LDW conferences, as well as the PPAI Women’s Leadership Conference.

Larry Arntz is President of Larry Arntz, Inc., a distributorship based in Virginia and has 20 years of experience in the promotional products industry. He has served VAPPA over the last 20 years in a variety of capacities including At-large Board Member, Show Committee Chair, Vice President, President and currently serves as the RAC Delegate.  After affiliating with AIA in 2011, he has been awarded The Presidents Club Award and the Million Dollar Circle of Excellence Awards for 2012 and 2013.

Brad Langton, replaces Jon Henrickson, CAS, who resigned in March 2016 and will finish out Jon’s term.  In 2008, Brad became a multi-line sales rep, a path that satisfied his desire for freedom and his penchant for sales.  Brad has been closely affiliated with the two regional associations within his territory, AzPPA in Arizona (as President and RAC Delegate) and RMRPPA in Colorado.

Jeff Shaw is the President of Shaw Print and Promotion, a distributorship located in Columbus, OH. He served OPPA as a volunteer for many years before moving into a leadership role in 2010 when he ran for the Board. Since joining the Board, he has stepped up to serve in a variety of leadership positions including Education Committee Chair, Promotions at the Bay Show Chair, RAC Delegate, Vice President and President.

Lindsey Whitney, MAS, recently sold her lip balm company, Solar Advertising, Inc., to Raining Rose, Inc. and will manage the customers who previously worked with Solar Advertising.  She has a BS in International Business, with minors in Market Research and Global Marketing from Johnson & Wales University. Lindsey is currently serving on the RMRPPA Board as VP.  She was appointed to the RAC Board in November 2015 to fill a vacancy.
