Board of Directors

The Board of Directors shall consist of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, RAC Delegate to the PPAI Board of Directors, PPAI Board Delegate to RAC and five directors.  The Immediate Past President shall serve one year in an ex-officio, non-voting capacity and is not a Director of the Board.  The Executive Officers are the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and RAC Delegate to the PPAI Board of Directors.  Printable RAC Board List

Janet McMaster, MAS, is the Regional Sales Manager for Geiger.  After relocating from Pennsylvania to South Carolina in 2012, Janet was nominated for the Board of CAAMP and served as the Professional Development Chair as well as President.  Janet has also served on PPAI’s Professional Development Committee (2013 and 2014) and the Women’s Leadership Conference Advisory Planning Workgroup (2013 and 2014).

Lindsey Whitney, MAS, recently sold her lip balm company, Solar Advertising, Inc., to Raining Rose, Inc. and will manage the customers who previously worked with Solar Advertising.  She has a BS in International Business, with minors in Market Research and Global Marketing from Johnson & Wales University. Lindsey is currently RMRPPA President.

Harold Wood, an account manager for Bic Graphic serving the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, has been an active leader for CPPA, SAAGNY and VAPPA and is VAPPA’s 2017 RAC Delegate.Wood has been the proud recipient of the Supplier of the Year award for both VAPPA (2013) and CPPA (2016), a PPAI Volunteer of the Year nominee for (2015 and 2016) and most recently, a member of the inaugural class of PPAI Fellows.

John Bates started his career in the wonderful world of promotional products in 1998, the year the MP3 player was invented. Since then, John has spent time on both the distributor and supplier side and is currently a Field Sales Manager for Polyconcept North America.  He was fortunate enough to marry his high school sweetheart, Dina, 15 years ago and now Ella, Grace and Charlie call him Dad. John served as MiPPA President in 2016.

D’Anna Zimmer, CAS, is the Texas and Oklahoma territory rep for BAG MAKERS, Inc. and has worked as a supplier rep for more than 20 years after beginning as a distributor sales rep for Marketing Incentives. Her involvement with PPAS began early in her career; she has served in several capacities on the Board including Vice President twice, President twice and RAC Delegate for several terms. When their RAC Delegate, she attended L.E.A.D. in Washington, DC, for numerous years and helped PPAS host L.E.A.D. Local in Austin, TX, in 2015.

Lee Strom, CAS, has been with SanMar, a B2B supplier of apparel, bags and accessories for 15+ years and is Head of Marketing for the family-owned company. In a 2013 PPB Magazine interview, he said, “My wife and I are in the ‘empty nester’ years; we enjoy traveling, hitting the restaurant scene and playing bad music as a guitar/ukulele duo.”

Ryan Small, CAS, a fifth-generation Nashville native lives by one mantra … life is short, live large. Ryan is President and managing partner for Blue Dog Merch (a promotional products consulting firm) and Thread F/X, a family-owned business, founded in 1998, that specializes in contract embroidery, screen printing and fulfillment.  He was President of PPAMS in 2014.

Nicholas D’Eramo is co-owner of Triplestitch Promotions and Direct Threads,  a full-service promotional products distributor.  He has served on the Board of NEPPA from 2009–2015 as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President and President as well as Chair of the Membership and Scholarship committees from 2010–2012 and RAC Delegate 2013–2015.  Nick participated in L.E.A.D. in 2012, 2013 and 2015.  He served on PPAI’s Government Relations Action Council (GRAC) from 2014 to the present.

Bob has spent his entire adult life volunteering and served as the Chairman of the Board of Managers for the East Valley Family YMCA for numerous years. Bill Petrie, a featured speaker at national and international industry events and a serial creator of content marketing and a PromoKitchen chef, launched brandivate in 2014 and is now President of PromoCorner. Bill served on the Board of Directors for PPAChicago and is the current PPAMS President. Bill also serves on the PPB Advisory Board and has worked on several PPAI committees and work groups — most recently for the North American Leadership Conference. Bill was named as an inaugural PPAI Fellow in 2016.

Since joining the Ohio Promotional Professionals Association (OPPA) Board in 2010, he has served in a variety of leadership positions including Education Committee Chair, Promotions at the Bay Show Chair, Vice President and President and is currently their RAC Delegate.
