SAAGNY Postpones February 13 Show
The Executive Committee of the Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York (SAAGNY) Board of Directors has made the unprecedented decision to postpone its SAAGNY Winter Showcase, scheduled for Thursday, February 13. The show has been rescheduled and will be held on Friday, February 21.
With a major snow storm forecast for the New York metropolitan area beginning in the early morning hours of February 13 and continuing throughout much of the day, the Board concluded that it was best to postpone the event in the interest of the safety of all exhibitors and attendees.
SAAGNY President George Gorniok, MAS, says, “A lot of time and energy went in to planning the SAAGNY Winter Showcase and significant consideration was given to this decision. In the end, we felt the only prudent decision was to delay the show for a week. The show was going to be a rousing success this week and we know it will be a rousing success next week!”
The rescheduled show will proceed exactly as the original show was planned at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Suffern, New York. Exhibitor setup is on Thursday, February 20 from 6–10 pm and Friday, February 21 from 7–9:45 am.
The Hot New Products! education seminar, sponsored by Bulova, will be held from 8:30–10 am, with the doors to the show floor opening at 10 am. All distributor attendees will receive a SAAGNY Winter Heat coupon book flashdrive, sponsored by Leeds and all attendees can enter drawings for one of many great door prizes.
